Treasure Hunting

One of the places that I love to visit on a lazy Saturday is the Book Nook. It is a small used book store in Glen Burnie that is literally stuffed to the brim with books.

Be warned that if you are in search of a particular book, this place can be frustrating since organization is minimal and the books are stacked in tall piles that are two or three rows deep.

If, however, you are simply in the mood to go treasure hunting, I think this place is perfect. A large portion of the old books that I have collected have come from the Book Nook.

I love all your old books! How do you decide which old books to buy? Is it a particular type, age, color, or what....

The Book Nook looks like a very fun place to visit!

Hey, Katie, I was going to comment on the awesome twiga bookends too.

I really want to check that place out. I'll definitely have to go one of these days.

Thanks! Those awesome twiga bookends are the reason I used that picture :)

That is a good question Marie. I do not have any set method of choosing books. Old hardback classics are my favorites and I do love sets of matching books, but other than that, I just look around until I find one (or more) that I really like :)

Hey! I guess I never discovered the delightfulness of "Book Nook" while I was living there! When I get back there at some point, I will have to remedy that! :)
